Luiz Manuel do Eirado do Amorim
is architect and urban planner, graduated from the Federal Universityof Pernambuco (UFPE) in 1982, having completed his PhD in Advanced Architectural Studies at the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies – University College London, in 1999. He is a Full Professor at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at UFPE, working in the Undergraduate Course in Architecture and Urbanism and in the Graduate Program in Urban Development (MDU), where He coordinates the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Architecture (LA2) and the Research Group on Morphology of Architecture and Urbanism. He served, in 2004, as a visiting professor at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning / University of Michigan and is a permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PPGAU) at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). He developed post-doctoral studies at Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa (2017 | 2018). He is a 1A researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), where He was a member of the Advisory Committee on Architecture, Demography, Geography, Tourism and Urban and Regional Planning (CA-SA) between 2010 and 2013. He was founding editor of Thésis (2015-2017) and Docomomo Brasil (2017-2018), member of the Space Syntax International Steering Committee and editorial committees of Arquitextos, The Journal of Space Syntax (JOSS), Revista de Morfologia Urbana and Editora FRBH.

Marta Catarino Lourenço
is a physicist from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (1992), Master in Museology (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), and Ph.D. in Epistemology and History of Technology fromtheConservatoiredesArts et Métiers (2005, CNAM, Paris). She iscurrentlyDirectoroftheNationalMuseumof Natural Historyand Science attheUniversityof Lisbon and President of the International Committee of University Museums and Collections at ICOM. She teaches Material Culture of Science at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the Faculty of Sciences (Universityof Lisbon). She coordinated the survey of the cultural heritage of the University of Lisbon in 2010-2011 and in 2015, both published. She is the coordinator of PRISC (Portuguese Research Infrastructure of Scientific Collections), integrated in the national road map for strategic research infrastructures. She received the following awards: Sarton Medal (Gent University, 2015) and Vital Brasil Medal (Instituto Vital Brasil 2014).
