Abstract

Result of a partnership between the Museum of Astronomy and Related Sciences (MAST) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), the project, which began in 2010, constitutes a set of virtual testimonials that gathers and make available to the general public and especially to the public of institutions of education and research in Brazil, interviews with researchers and producers of science. Currently has a collection of more than 350 interviews, a total of more than two thousand (2,000) hours of recording, in short films format, with researchers in all areas of knowledge.

Initially, the interviews were conducted by researchers during the Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (SBPC), respectively in the years 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2013, the Project website, containing the material produced, was released during the 65th meeting of the SBPC, in Recife.

From the perspective adopted in the "A Ciência que eu Faço", the spread of interviews with scientists and producers of science contribute to the understanding about the density of political clashes around doing science projects in the country that, far from exhausting themselves, interact intensely with the dilemmas of their time. Thus, we emphasize the importance of actions to institutionalize the science and technology at MCTI and make it visible to society.
